New seven-seat Ford Everest concept travelling to Beijing
Ford has presented its Everest Sports utility vehicle concept in the Beijing motor show.
Confirmed as previewing a brand new seven-seat production vehicle for that Chinese market, the Everest is really a mid-size Sports utility vehicle having a concentrate on off-road ability. It’ll be produced by Ford’s partnership partner in the united states, JMC.
Styled by Ford’s design team around australia, the idea “offers beautiful design, premium refinement and rugged abilities in equal measure,” based on Ford’s Chinese boss John Lawler.
“An automobile such as the Ford Everest concept will be a welcome addition to the growing stable of SUVs,” he added.
Ford’s corporate front-finish styling features, such as the firm’s large trapezoidal front grille that sits alongside a prominent lower front bumper. The firm describes the Everest to be “a very capable vehicle that’s equally in your own home within the city or off-road”.
The Everest concept is dependant on the Ford’s Ranger pick-up.
